This incredibly diverse facility is a family-fun dream come true. Featuring activities like go-karting, miniature golf, video games, skating, a two level laser tag facility, and a large batting cage – the kids won't know where to start their afternoon of fun. There is a dress code that is enforced for kids 7 years of age and older as well as for non-participating adults.

The Birmingham Barons are an AA Minor League baseball team affiliated with the Chicago White Sox. They play their home games at Regions Park in Hoover. The sports team gained widespread but brief attention in 1994 when Michael Jordan became part of their team after he retired from the NBA.

While countless cities across the country hold a National Veterans Day Parade, the one that happens in Birmingham holds special significance as this is the city where the first Veteran's Day Celebration was held back in 1947. The tradition of honoring the men and women who fight for our freedom is still very much alive in Birmingham. The parade and festival held downtown features more than 5,000 participants, 15 bands and more than 50 floats.
