The kids will love the sights, sounds and attractions while mom and dad will enjoy the historical aspects of the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. This great family attraction allows you the opportunity to tour two National Historic Landmarks. These are the USS Alabama and Submarine USS Drum as well as an incredible display of 20 rare and historic aircraft. In addition to touring the vessels, you can take a little bit of this history home with you when you buy an item from the gift shop.

The whole family can “go gator” at Alligator Alley. Your adventure is a guided tour of the facility that offers the incredible opportunity to see over 200 alligators relaxing, nesting, and sunbathing in a unique habitat. If you happen to be visiting during feeding hour, you can watch the crew walk right out to the alligators and feed them. As your tour continues, you can walk on an elevated boardwalk that allows for a unique view of the alligators along with such other creatures as turtles, ospreys, owls, bull frogs and many other animal attractions.

Sometimes, getting a case of the blues can actually be a good thing. And nowhere is that feeling more appropriate than at the Blues Tavern. This one-of-a-kind entertainment venue has been often imitated but never duplicated, as any of the patrons of this blues club will tell you. The Mobile BayBears are a minor league baseball team that plays in the Southern League. The sports team is the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks major league club. The team plays its home games at Hank Aaron Stadium.
