That fact is rightfully celebrated at the National African-American Archives and Museum. The symphony also raises funds for the continuance of music education and offers special events and camps for aspiring musicians.

It doesn't matter if you are driving by or strolling past, you will definitely be struck by the incredible beauty of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. This incredible church and architectural attraction was built in the first half of the 19th century. The structure's architectural style is Greek Revival, and this basilica is noteworthy for several reasons, not the least of which are the glorious stained glass windows, hand-carved stations of the cross, as well as the smooth-polished marble designs.
