Canaan Hill Baptist Church

No visit to Montgomery is complete without seeing the three historic downtown streets that make up the Garden District. The university's football team plays at Hornet Stadium while the basketball teams hold court at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. The Hornet baseball team plays at the ASU Baseball Complex.

This structure was built in 1851 and was both the state Capitol and the Capitol of the Confederacy during the American Civil War in 1861.
