While Buck's Pocket State Park may be a bit of a drive away from Montgomery, the area's amazing scenery and activities make it all worth it. One of the more popular activities is the park's 20 miles of hiking and recreation trails. This unassuming house was home to Dr. King and his family and most assuredly the site of many highly dramatic and tension-filled moments. When you walk in, you enter the gift shop and then begin by seeing a video of King and other significant figures of the Civil Rights Movement.
