These fountains were designed by the same team who constructed the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas. Spectators can enjoy the visually stunning show that features streams of water being shot up to 40 feet in the air while it is all synchronized to accompanying lights and music. This is one of Glendale's favorite places to catch an unforgettable display of nature and technology, and the best part of all is that it's absolutely free.

Take to the skies for a history lesson that has an impressively large wingspan. Discover the stories that are all a part of the Luke Air Force Base, a place that proudly touts itself as the “Home of the Fighter Pilot.” See various aircraft and learn about the role they played in various historical eras. Also, learn about the men who got in the cockpits to steer these planes into the history books. Tours and groups of 15 to 40 persons can be arranged by calling the base in advance.

Glendale's Deer Valley Rock Art Center will challenge what you know about art. In more than one way, this attraction will “rock” your world, as the center houses several unique examples of rock paintings and petroglyphs. Some of these impressive rock sculptures are displayed outside the venue, and can be seen in all their glory along the adjacent walking path. As you move along this picturesque trail, you will also be treated to the sight of a beautiful garden and an impressive amphitheater.
