These are beautiful $6 million fountains that feature over 200 lights, 168 jets, 26 water pumps, and 60,000 gallons of fresh water all masterfully orchestrated to create something truly captivating. These fountains were designed by the same team who constructed the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas. Spectators can enjoy the visually stunning show that features streams of water being shot up to 40 feet in the air while it is all synchronized to accompanying lights and music. This is one of Glendale's favorite places to catch an unforgettable display of nature and technology, and the best part of all is that it's absolutely free.
A visit to Glendale's Sahuaro Ranch will allow you to experience not only a vital part of the area's history, but also to understand the vital role of farming and agriculture to the economic development of the area. This ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers visitors a chance to visit a rustic farmhouse complete with vintage furnishing and decorations. You will also marvel at exhibits and attractions like the collection of vintage and antique farm equipment that was used to bring in the various crops.
Glendale's Sahuaro Ranch Park has many stories to tell. The Tolmachoff farm holds this annual festival in June and it is an excellent opportunity to visit the farm with the whole family.
