The Tolmachoff farm holds this annual festival in June and it is an excellent opportunity to visit the farm with the whole family. Glendale's Deer Valley Rock Art Center will challenge what you know about art. In more than one way, this attraction will “rock” your world, as the center houses several unique examples of rock paintings and petroglyphs. Some of these impressive rock sculptures are displayed outside the venue, and can be seen in all their glory along the adjacent walking path. As you move along this picturesque trail, you will also be treated to the sight of a beautiful garden and an impressive amphitheater.

Sometimes, you feel like you need to get out and commune with nature for awhile. You may not realize it, but your dog may actually feel the same way, too. Glendale's Northern Horizon Park offers the chance for the two of you get enjoy some healthy exercise and outdoor relaxation. This impressively expansive area is the city's premier dog park and offers many fenced-in areas and activities designed to assure that your four-legged friend gets some great exercise while staying safe. There is a separate area for larger dogs, too.
