Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival is going to be amazing this year. Funergy will present nightly costume contests, and everyone is welcome to participate. Show off your best costume and win a prize. Over 20 hot air balloons from around the country will be at the festival, and each will be a trick-or-treat station. That means you'll be able to get candy and treats all night long. They even have over 4,000 pounds of candy ready for the kids. If that wasn't enough, Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co. offers hot air balloon rides for the whole family. What a fantastic way to see everything from above.
Enjoy a refreshing float down the peaceful Salt River, surrounded by stunning scenery and soaking up the Arizona sun at the Salt River Tubing & Recreation. Remember to rent a tube for your cooler and leave all the details to them. Make a reservation, show up in your swimsuit and flip-flops, and prepare for a great time. And if you're planning a group outing, check out the VIP group reservations, which let you skip the lines and enjoy a leisurely float with 20 or more people.
Visit the last remaining basilica in Arizona, St. Mary's Basilica. As the oldest Catholic parish in the city, this beautiful church has a rich history and is worth a visit. St. Mary's Basilica is also one of the most-photographed religious icons in the area. The structure has an otherworldly, unique atmosphere, and visitors often live in a peaceful state of mind. Interestingly, in 1985, Pope John Paul II declared St. Mary's a Minor Basilica, a massive deal in the Catholic Church. So, if you're in Phoenix, check out this fantastic piece of history.
