They say that good things come in small packages, and nowhere is that more obvious than on the links at the El Rio-Trini Alvarez Golf Course. This entire course spans a "mere" 6,400 yards and the greens look more like postage stamps, but that doesn't mean that playing this short course isn't a really big challenge. This vintage course that dates back to the 1930s was the original site of the first PGA Tucson Open. If you shoot short, then this course is a perfect fit.
If you think that your stress level is so high that nothing can get rid of it, think again. You need to head to the Westward Look Resort. Located at the base of the Catalina Mountains, you will be able to escape on the various on-site trails, breathe in fresh air in the gardens and marvel at the 360 degree views. There is a restaurant and bar available, as well as Sonoran Spa that features desert-inspired treatments and therapies.
