Outback Steakhouse

The Maverick is Tucson's oldest and longest-running live country music venue, with a history spanning over 60 years. They take pride in their vast dance floor, three separate bars, pool tables, top-notch food, and dance lessons offered five nights a week. They only feature the best in live country music, and they have great drink specials every night. Founded in 1962, The Maverick relocated to a bigger and better location on Tucson's famous "restaurant row" of Tanque Verde Road. They aren't a trendy country-themed warehouse dancehall; they have an old-school honky-tonk heart with a Cheers-like attitude, where everybody knows your name.

Tucson Meet Yourself is an annual celebration in Downtown Tucson during the second weekend of October. It's a colorful and lively event that brings together the diverse ethnic and folk communities of Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico. The festival showcases the traditional arts passed down from generation to generation. At the festival, visitors can experience the beauty and richness of cultural diversity through the talented artisans, home cooks, dancers, musicians, and special exhibits. The celebration recognizes and celebrates the everyday art that is often overlooked. Tucson Meet Yourself is a three-day free festival that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture, experience the vibrant traditions of the people, and sample the region's unique flavors. It is a celebration of the living arts that have been kept alive for generations and an opportunity to appreciate the richness of our cultural heritage.
