The world's largest treasure hunt happens every late January into early February at JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show. Vendors, collectors and experts from all around the world convene for the big show, and the depth and breadth of the show is so big, it is not confined to simply one location. Depending on the number of participating satellite locations, the show comprises nearly 40 sites around town that include giant white tents, hotels, resorts and exhibit halls. The show is open to the public, so if you are in the market for anything from those coveted diamond earrings to a granite set of bookends, chances are you'll find it at the rock show that really rocks!
Ski Valley is the southernmost ski destination in the continental United States with a top elevation of 9,157 feet (2,791 m) above sea level and has 200 skiable acres with 21 runs. This observatory provides the city with an attraction that's truly out-of-this-world.
