  Set your sights on the great outdoors and make your way to Featherly Regional Park in Santa Ana Canyon, a practical and completely natural riparian wilderness area including wetlands adjacent to rivers and streams, making it perfect for a day trip or an overnight venture. Although public access is restricted, viewing opportunities are best from the Santa Ana Bikeway.  The developed portion of the park is Canyon RV Park, a privately-operated facility which offers sites with full hook-ups, small cabins, youth group camping and areas for group events. The entrance to this family-friendly section of the Park is located at Gypsum Canyon Road and reservations are a must. Orange County provides an app to navigate through all the local parks.  

Take an up close and personal tour of The Muckenthaler Mansion commissioned back in 1924 and ever since gracing the wonderful scenic backdrop in Fullerton resting atop a bucolic hill and consisting of 18-rooms upon an 8.5 acre expanse. Years later, at the bequest of Harold Muckenthaler, his childhood home became a most splendid city cultural center.  The Muck has since produced more than 60 astounding performances, gallery exhibits, festivals and special events along with literally thousands of hours of art education classes. This beautiful site also hosts over 75 weddings and corporate events each year and boasts of an impressive list of accolades and awards in recognition of their cultural arts contribution to local society. 

Bar down and sign up for another barnburner to take your seats and watch the Anaheim Ducks, the local professional ice hockey team and members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since their famous and cinematic inception, the Ducks have played all their home games at the Honda Center near Angel Stadium. Long time fans and Disney aficionados will certainly remember that this team was originally named the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim based on the 1992 film, The Mighty Ducks, starring a young Emilio Estevez.
