If you visit in October, be sure to look up the Big Fresno Fair. As its name suggests, this is Fresno County's big annual festival, and is actually the fifth largest fair in the state. Come by for live musical performances by local, regional, national and even international artists. The carnival and special exhibits promise all-day fun for people of all ages.

Get down on the dance floor any day of the week at Aldo's Nightclub. Open to patrons 18 and up, this nightlife destination features DJs that play music to suit any dancer-hip-hop, R&B, tejano and country. Aldo's keeps the party going all night long with a variety of music and drink specials for patrons age 21 and up.

Since 1954 the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra has presented high-quality, live orchestral entertainment to residents throughout Fresno County. Enjoy classical orchestra music or a Symphonic Night at the Movies. You may even catch an opera or attend one of the annual events, such as the wine auction and exotic car show.

Visit Fresno County's first park. Kearney Park is 225 acres and offers picnic and outdoor sports facilities in its day-use areas. Play a game of soccer, test your skills at horseshoe, hit a few balls at the softball and baseball fields or let the children have fun on the playground. When the heat's too much, visit the Kearney Mansion Museum for some educational fun and air conditioning.
