Fresno hosts the annual Miss California Pageant during the summer in order to motivate and assist young Californian women towards achieving their goals. Each participant showcases her individual talents and also displays knowledge of current events, good communication skills and physical fitness.

See several aircrafts and aviation machines from across time and the globe at this outdoor field museum. The indoor museum features war memorabilia from the same eras as the planes. You might even get a chance to ride in a helicopter if you visit during special events and opening!
