Although you will have to drive about two hours outside of Fresno to reach it, Yosemite National Park is well worth the trip. The seven square miles of Yosemite Valley are wonderful for camping, hiking, biking and even swimming. This designated wilderness is the perfect outdoor escape from urban life.

Walk through the land of fantasy and nursery rhymes at Rotary Storyland Playland. Designed as Fresno's answer to Disneyworld, this small family-run amusement park attraction is perfect for children. Explore King Arthur's Castle, watch a live theater performance, unlock fairy tales with a magic key, and ride one of the 13 rides, including a Ferris wheel, train and Octopus ride.
