Fresno hosts the annual Miss California Pageant during the summer in order to motivate and assist young Californian women towards achieving their goals. Each participant showcases her individual talents and also displays knowledge of current events, good communication skills and physical fitness.

Celebrate the rich Armenian culture in Fresno at the Armenian Museum of Fresno. Learn about the history of the Armenian people and view rotating exhibits of Armenian art as well as a permanent collection of art, artifacts and textiles.
