Although you will have to drive about two hours outside of Fresno to reach it, Yosemite National Park is well worth the trip. If you visit in October, be sure to look up the Big Fresno Fair. As its name suggests, this is Fresno County's big annual festival, and is actually the fifth largest fair in the state. Come by for live musical performances by local, regional, national and even international artists. The carnival and special exhibits promise all-day fun for people of all ages.
