Learn about the art of winemaking as you tour the quaint A. Nonini Winery, Inc. This winery has been producing quality grapes and wines since 1921. Explore the vineyard, filled with grapes originating from Northern Italy, and the redwood tanks, used for aging wine and dating back to 1936. After your tour, sample some of the fifteen varieties of Nonini wines.

Embrace the wild at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. You can find all sorts of exotic animals at this accredited zoo, including large cats, birds, reptiles and the popular elephants. Located in the center of Roeding Park, this wild attraction was originally a safe haven for abandoned exotic pets. It has grown to encompass more than 18 acres since its creation in 1929 in a log cabin.

ArtHop provides local artists with the opportunity to showcase their work-whether traditional or contemporary-on the first and third Thursday of each month. Visit the Tower District and downtown's museums, studios, galleries and other venues to see these exhibitions. Be sure to visit the local vendors who join as well.
