Opened in 1913, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is the largest museum in the western US. Walk through 4.5 billion years of history as you stroll through the exhibits. Artifacts, fossils and specimen dating back from prehistory to today are preserved and displayed on all three floors.
Experience live entertainment and attractions in a new way at the Peacock Theater, formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Opened in 2007, this indoor venue offers 7,100 seats, none of which are more than 220 feet away from the stage. This gives the theatre a sense of intimacy not found in similarly sized theaters. Located on Rainbow Harbor, the Aquarium of the Pacific features a collection of over 11,000 animals, representing over 500 different species. Learn about the different sea life, as well as the importance of the ocean, its threats and conservation. You can also pet the sharks and stingrays at the Shark Lagoon attraction or feed nectar to lorikeets at the Lorikeet Forest.
