Modeled after the New York State Theater, the Carpenter Performing Arts Center serves as a venue in LA for films, forums, musical and theater performances, and other entertainment events. Located at California State University, the Center serves as a gateway between the university and greater LA community.

Exposition Park contains several natural and cultural centers, including the California Science Center and other museums. The Comedy Store has three rooms-the Original room, the Main Room and the Belly Room-with a variety of local, national and international talent lined up to perform every night. Previous performers include stars such as Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, Russell Brand, Roseanne Barr and Ahmed Ahmed.
