The second largest park in Los Angeles, as well as the city's oldest, Elysian Park covers 600 acres of land. Scattered across this park, you will find a number of idyllic picnic spots, several sculptures and memorial markers, trails and a community garden. Located in downtown LA, the Orpheum Theatre opened its doors in 1926. Since then, it has undergone a renovation to restore the movie palace to its former glory (including its grand pipe organ).
