A "must-see" site is the official Hollywood Walk of Fame outside of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. The street is paved with the handprints - and occasionally the prints of other body parts - celebrity stars and signatures of Hollywood icons. Originally built as a single-screen movie theater in 1936, the El Rey Theatre has undergone several transformations over the decades, from a theater to a dance club to its current incarnation as a live music venue.
