Honor the history of our local ancestors at the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. The tribal museum traces the history of Palm Springs and the culture, lifestyle and traditions of its original inhabitants, the Cahuilla Indians. Exhibits draw from extensive collections of archeological material, art, crafts, and photographs.

The Palm Springs Art Museum exhibits art collections of modern California art, European modern art, and Native American art. The 150,000-square-foot museum is the hub of the Palm Springs art community and welcomes patrons to explore art, brunch at the Muse Café, and shop at the Palm Springs Museum Store.

The Camelot Theatres is where art film lovers preview the hottest in first-run art films, foreign films and indie films. The theater offers entertainment complimented by the allure of old-world, Hollywood-style show palaces, and serves gourmet cuisine and signature cocktails at its swanky International Café and Bar.

Spend some time outdoors and challenge yourself by climbing the Maynard Mine Trail, a rugged track that leads to the remains of an old tungsten mine that was operated by Jim Maynard during WWII. It takes time and physical endurance to trek across the 6-mile trail that overlooks the Indian Canyon, offering beautiful vistas along the way.
