The tribal museum traces the history of Palm Springs and the culture, lifestyle and traditions of its original inhabitants, the Cahuilla Indians. Exhibits draw from extensive collections of archeological material, art, crafts, and photographs.

The Palm Springs Art Museum exhibits art collections of modern California art, European modern art, and Native American art. The 150,000-square-foot museum is the hub of the Palm Springs art community and welcomes patrons to explore art, brunch at the Muse Café, and shop at the Palm Springs Museum Store.
