The Andreas Canyon Trail offers hikers an easy trek winding up the canyon beside a stream with such abundant vegetation it feels like a tropical oasis instead of desert. The 2 mile outdoor trail ends at a fence that allows hikers to return the way they came or cross the stream to enjoy the scenery from the other side of the canyon.

Wild cacti are on the loose at the Moorten Botanical Garden. The infamous Moorten family, trained desert aficionados, turned their estate into a living museum of desert lore. See thousands of desert cacti and explore exhibits and attractions that display crystals, rocks and ancient fossils when you spend a day at this famous Palm Springs historical landmark.

Have a ball at the Palm Springs Chill independent baseball game. The team is co-owned by the Palm Springs Power, a collegiate-level baseball team based in Palm Springs. Slide into some good ole fashioned fun when you cheer for the sports team as they play their home games at the Palm Springs Stadium.
