History never tasted so good as it does when you take the kids to learn about the very first McDonald's restaurant. Even though it has grown into one of the biggest brand names in history, see the enterprise's humble beginnings at the Historic Site of the World's First McDonald's Hamburgers museum showcase the humble yet compelling beginnings of the fast food giant. Various items and memorabilia from the franchise's history are on display, a gift shop offers plenty of cool souvenirs, but no food is served at this attraction.

Get a taste of what life was like for the Franciscan Fathers back in 1819 when you visit the Asistencia Mission De San Gabriel. The site is commonly referred to as “Estancia,” as this Spanish mission was a beacon of hope and help to people of the area who were in need of food, water and spiritual comfort. This historic structure is now owned by the San Bernardino County Museum System and its continuous efforts allow visitors to take a fascinating look at what religious life was like alongside the San Bernardino Mountains in the 19th century. The mission has aged well, as many couples choose to get married in the meticulously maintained church that is complemented by its impressively landscaped grounds.

It doesn't matter if you are a highly experienced rock climber or you just enjoy taking in the rustic scenery that all of the incredible formations offer, you will really enjoy visiting the Arrowhead Pinnacles. This outdoor area features many walking, hiking and climbing routes amid some heavily rocky terrain. The area is quite similar to the famous Joshua Tree site and there are many crack and face routes to choose from. Heading up the pinnacle takes about an hour.

The California Theatre of Performing Arts is the Inland Empire's Premiere Theater and has worked hard to legitimately earn that title. This stunning 1,718-seat auditorium was built in 1928 and continues the legacy by presenting a wide variety of different performances that include legitimate theater, musicals, ballet, recitals, plays, symphony celebrity headliners, fashion shows, corporate seminars, and even graduation and naturalization ceremonies. This entertainment venue continues to proudly serve a population of 26 million people within its 30 mile radius.
