Luckily, places like the Kimberly Crest House and Gardens make it possible to revisit history. This amazing structure was built in 1897 and was considered the “castle” because of its distinctive design. It stands as a fine example of lavish Victorian architecture. The home's namesake, Kimberly Crest, donated the property to the city of Redlands and it has been a vital historical link to the area's past ever since. The house is available for tours, but it is suggested that you call ahead to schedule a specific time.

The California Theatre of Performing Arts is the Inland Empire's Premiere Theater and has worked hard to legitimately earn that title. This stunning 1,718-seat auditorium was built in 1928 and continues the legacy by presenting a wide variety of different performances that include legitimate theater, musicals, ballet, recitals, plays, symphony celebrity headliners, fashion shows, corporate seminars, and even graduation and naturalization ceremonies. This entertainment venue continues to proudly serve a population of 26 million people within its 30 mile radius.

Plenty of attraction and activities that will keep the kids moving await the whole family at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino. There really is so much to do and see here, you will want to set aside a whole day just to experience it all. There's a beach area and lakeside scenery for you to splash around in, beautiful gardens to enjoy, hiking and walking trails that will offer you a unique view of this spectacularly scenic area. For the urban cowboy (or cowgirl) in everyone, there's the Brandin' Iron Saloon and Dance Hall. This charmingly rustic nightlife spot is one of those places that could have been the setting for the famous “Urban Cowboy” movie. The venue features various live country bands, dance lessons and the ever-popular mechanical bull that always attracts plenty of takers. There is also a delicious dinner menu available, too.
