Baseball is as American as hotdogs and apple pie, and you can get a heaping helping of the sports action as the San Diego Padres take to the field at PETCO Park for nine innings of fun. Not only does the Major League team work hard for every home-run, you and your family will feel at home in the park with all the great family-oriented promotions, giveaways and fun.
Need a good laugh to forget the stresses of your everyday routine? Then a laugh-filled evening at the National Comedy Theatre is just for you! The venue features the best in improvisational comedy and interactive entertainment, the best of all; it is all family-friendly! The troupe does a great job of keeping their antics and impressions clean but that doesn't mean that they're not uproariously funny. Another great attribute about the theater is that there is no drink minimum like most clubs, so you can enjoy a soft drink if you like so you can clearly remember all the comedy you experienced well beyond your time in the audience.
Whether you opt for the half day trip or the full day excursion, be prepared for the big catch when you are on the Seaforth Sportfishing vessel. Recently, one guest on the ship brought in a 41 pound halibut that was almost as big as he was! Enjoy a stress-free, worry-free sport fishing excursion by letting the staff take care of everything for you. All you have to do is cast your line and wait for the big catch!
The Cabrillo National Monument majestically stands in San Diego Bay. It was named after the Portuguese explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo who landed on this site in 1542. The monument is part of a complex that includes a museum that tells the tale of Cabrillo's explorations as well as those of other early explorers.
