While the San Diego Zoo resides within the confines of Balboa Park, the park itself is worthy of a visit in its own right, as it offers an impressive set of attractions. The Timken Museum of Art can be characterized as small, but potent. While the building is not sprawling or as expansive as you would expect, what you find inside makes the size of the building unimportant.

The San Diego Film Festival's goal is to bring much-due attention and positivity to the art of independent film making. The individuals who produce, direct, and star in the featured movies get their time and attention in the spotlight, as a plethora of parties, workshops and special events are always on the itinerary.
