Things To Do in San Francisco, CA
Walking hand-in-hand on a beach is the epitome of a romantic evening, and you can experience it by taking a short drive to Tomales Bay. Located on the central California coast approximately 40 miles northwest of San Francisco, the bay features a stretch of shoreline known as Hearts Desire Beach that extends to Shell Beach. Whether you have dinner and then head out to your romantic stroll or just head straight out into the salt air, the drive and the effort you make to create this special romantic date will definitely be worth it.
When you set out for a round of golf at Half Moon Golf Links-Ocean, be prepared for a course that is as challenging as it is beautiful. The layout almost certainly requires all of your shots to be spot on, and any wavering from that strategy could cost you several strokes. The layout of the fairway and the bunkers offers the additional challenge of tall grass and will only magnify your every misstep. The greens are average size but just as challenging as the rest of this deceptively lush course.
Obviously, there are several photo-opportunities in San Francisco. In addition to the usual attractions, don't forget to check out Lombard Street, a thoroughfare that many consider to be "the crookedest street in the world." This section of the city is actually one of the most photographed, and for good reason. It is from this unique vantage point that you can see extraordinary views of Alcatraz, Coit Tower, Angel Tower, and the Bay Bridge. This amazingly landscaped street is augmented by a one block descent to Levenworth Street and also offers access to a cable car route which only adds to this area's uniqueness.
