The El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park houses the Santa Barbara Royal Presidio, one of four in the chain of military fortresses built by the Spanish in 1782 to protect the Spanish missions and settlers. Visit the historic park to walk in their shoes and experience the life and times of these early governments and communities.

The locals at Arroyo Burro Beach Park in Santa Barbara are avid surfers. The sandy beach is a popular destination for surfers, swimmers and fisherman. After a day spent outdoors on the shores and off the shores, crowds get together at its seaside hot spots to enjoy cocktails at sunset.

Catch fun at the Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival. The waterfront festival hooks thousands of festival goers in to eat the best fresh crab, succulent lobster and other seafood fare. The one-day seafest celebrates local fisheries and charitable giving which is the trophy catch of the day.
