Striking out is a good thing when the whole family heads out to Pacific Avenue Bowl. This is one of Stockton's favorite places for great family fun. This bowling facility has been one of the city's most iconic attractions, as it has had its doors (and bowling lanes) open since 1958. Despite its impressive vintage, the venue offers state-of-the-art bowling, a great gaming area, snack bar and more that creates a highly comfortable environment that's safe, enjoyable and perfect for the whole family.

The fine products of area vineyards are brought together in a creative and delicious way with the Wine and Chocolate Weekend, scheduled close to Valentine's Day every February. The event takes place in Lodi Wine Country and guests enjoy the finest wines paired with the most decadent chocolate concoctions which add up to an experience that is as aromatic as it is delicious.

The Cosumnes River Walk Trail winds through the Cosumnes River Preserve and offers walkers and hikers the opportunity to see over 200 species of birds that include sandhill cranes and various types of waterfowl. The recreation trail's location as it runs through the Great Valley allows visitors to discover and learn about the wondrous nature that inhabits this magnificent parcel of land.
