Play it cool by putting the whole family on ice—as in the ice you'll be skating on at the Oak Park Ice Arena! This classic facility has been offering great family ice skating fun since it first opened its doors back in 1970. Since then, the rink has made several improvements that make your time on the ice as fun as it can be. The surface of the ice is 85 x 200 feet and the facility also has seating for those family members who would rather watch the fun than put on a pair of skates.

If you feel like you want to explore as much of nature and wildlife as you can but are limited by time, then make a trip to the Micke Grove Zoo. This impressive facility houses creatures from all over the globe that include such popular residents as monkeys, iguanas and a stunning collection of exotic birds and equally interesting amphibians. In addition to offering a great environment to walk around and view the animals in their natural habitats, the zoo also features various seasonal events as well as a variety of educational programs.
