Every April, Stockton presents a very tasty celebration with the Stockton Asparagus Festival. The three-day multi-event has been held every year for the past 27 years, and continues to get more popular. Enjoy over 100 arts and crafts vendors as well as plenty of food and product vendors. This is the place where the world-famous Deep Fried Asparagus Eating Championship proudly takes place. This is the largest food festival in the Central Valley, and it also holds the distinction of being the state's largest charitable event.

That is exactly what you can expect at Stockton's Haggin Museum. Featuring a balance between art and historic pieces, the Haggin does an impressive job of spotlighting the work of many notable American and European artists. Whether you're young in age or young at heart, a great day of family fun is in store when you visit the Pixie Woods Amusement Park. This is a truly classic experience, as this much-loved park has been a fixture of Stockton since it opened more than 55 years ago. Enjoy such attractions as a merry-go-round, the Pixie Express Train, and much more. The kids will also enjoy the slides and playgrounds, and the firetruck and pirate ship that are on site, too. Plus, the water play area is quite popular during the warmer months of the year.
