The Cosumnes River Walk Trail winds through the Cosumnes River Preserve and offers walkers and hikers the opportunity to see over 200 species of birds that include sandhill cranes and various types of waterfowl. The recreation trail's location as it runs through the Great Valley allows visitors to discover and learn about the wondrous nature that inhabits this magnificent parcel of land.
Every April, Stockton presents a very tasty celebration with the Stockton Asparagus Festival. This is the largest food festival in the Central Valley, and it also holds the distinction of being the state's largest charitable event.

This attraction is located in San Joaquin County Fairgrounds and has been in operation since 1986. This track is an 1/8 mile dirt oval that accommodates microsprint cars that kids from 5 years of age and up can enjoy. The whole family will be entertained by the rumble of these smaller-than-usual engines as they speed toward the finish line.
