Learn about all of the outdoor beauty you'll find at Stockton's Oak Grove Nature Center and Oak Grove Regional Park. The park offers plenty of great activities throughout the spring and summer that are designed to educate visitors about the plants, animals and ecosystem that all contribute to the area's obvious natural beauty. The trails remain open in the fall and winter but the Center's activities are limited to the constraints of the weather.

Get a feel for Stockton's natural beauty as it perfectly interplays with its commercial offerings at the Downtown Stockton Marina and Joan Darrah Promenade. You'll be immediately struck by the scenic waterfront attraction and all the boats that are docked here. Also, there is some excellent art and various other displays to enjoy at the Joan Darrah Promenade, so make sure you take the time to stop in. Plus, with all of the excellent restaurants and shops near the Marina, you'll want to plan for a day-long visit to take it all in!

When your day isn't going quite like you planned it and you need a bit of a pick me up to get you back on track, head to Empresso Coffeehouse. Located on the Miracle Mile, this is one of Stockton's favorite places to get a daily caffeine fix, but this unique coffee house offers much more. Choose from an excellent selection of frappes, espresso drinks, loose leaf teas, and delicious pastries. So when you're needing that extra bit of energy that only a good cup of coffee can give, opt for the impressive choices at Empresso!
