SANTA FE, N.M. A Colorado man who survived a bus crash in New Mexico that killed three people including his wife last July has filed a lawsuit. Ramon Grajeda-Beltran and Olga Hernandez-Beltran of Rocky Ford were passengers on a commercial bus traveling from Denver to El Paso, Texas that overturned after colliding with a car and then was struck by a tractor-trailer. TUCSON, Ariz. The Global SuperTanker, the worlds largest firefighting aircraft, is ready for the upcoming wildfire season. The Arizona Republic reports that the Boeing 747-400 series passenger jet converted for firefighting recently underwent maintenance at Pinal Airpark outside Tucson. The retrofitted aircraft has been used to fight wildfires in California, Chile, Israel and elsewhere. The plane can dump up to 19,200 gallons 72,678 liters of water or retardant in just six seconds and fly as low as 200 feet

Summer deadline nears on Eagle County airport construction

GYPSUM, Colo. Construction on a western Colorado airports new terminal is due to wrap up before July 1, officials say. The Vail Dailyreports that crews are working six or seven days a week to wrap up the $35 million project at the Eagle County Airport in Gypsum this summer. Work began more than a year ago and will add six new gates to the airport. Eagle County construction manager Josh Miller says jet bridges on most of those gates
