Hartford's Riverside Park is a popular outdoor spot that offers a little something for everyone. There's a boat launch, docking, volleyball, picnicking, and playgrounds. This park is also the home of the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boat House. Also, the park features various sculptures and other eye-catching attractions that make spending time here something truly special.

Connecticut Whale (formerly the Hartford Wolf Pack) is a professional hockey team based in Hartford. The sports team plays in the American Hockey League and play their home games in the XL Center. The Whale are the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Rangers.
