Seize the opportunity to see our government in action with a visit to the Supreme Court of the United States. The Neoclassical architecture of the building is stunning, and the outer spectacle of the Court is just the beginning. While the court term runs from October through June, you can actually sit in on an actual Court session. Seating is limited, however, so plan to arrive early at the Front Plaza if you want a seat. When the Court is not sitting, you can still take in a lecture or presentation every hour on the half hour.

See their masterful craftsmen at work putting bead necklaces and bracelets together or learn the art yourself by taking one of the classes that are offered at various times. In addition to all the supplies you need to create your own works of art, there's also an impressive selection of ready-made jewelry and ethnic art that are accentuated with stunning bead combinations that you will find to be truly irresistible.

Habana Village is layers of fun...literally! This is an unbelievable four-story nightlife destination. Find your place on the floor to dance the salsa, merengue, tango or samba to add more than just a little spice to your evening. If you aren't quite sure of the steps, there are lessons available to help you find your groove. There isn't much time to be off your feet, but if you do need a bit of a breather, there are excellent lounges on the third and fourth floors that will revitalize your spirit. The specialty drink at Habana Village is the mojito, a tasty mix of rum, sugar and crushed mint leaves that will help you get dancing again, too.

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts can be considered the headquarters of stage performances in Washington, or even the whole country for that matter! The entertainment facility is immense as it sprawls out over 17 acres, overlooks the Potomac River and features six theaters that are always staging various productions like plays, operas, ballets and lots more. There are tours of the facility itself, as well as several exhibits and even an excellent concession area.
