When people think of a romantic date, usually a walk on the beach comes to mind. If you and your sweetheart find yourselves in Clearwater, there will be plenty of sandy selections to choose for your stroll on the seashore. One of the most popular is Treasure Island. This is one of the widest beaches in the area and there is always something fun going on to sit and enjoy. Activities like kite flying contests and windsailing take place here quite often. Also, this is the site of the popular Taste of Treasure Island food and music festival.

Take aim for a great time at one of Clearwater's most popular amusement centers, Celebration Station. There's something fun for the whole family to enjoy at this incredible attraction. Choose from taking a revved up ride in a go-kart, jolting your senses on a bumper boat, feeling the wind on your face on one of the many carnival rides or sharpening your shooting skills in the laser tag arena.

Cooperation instead of competition is the mission of Studio 1212. Established in October of 1970, this is the oldest artist cooperative in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The membership is limited to thirty members who not only create and teach their craft in this cooperative, but they frequently hold openings and display their art for the public to view and purchase. Various classes are offered as well, as the members of the co-op also value the opportunity to give back by teaching their craft to aspiring artists.
