Sometimes, changing your scenery with something a little unexpected is good for romance. That's definitely the case when you plan a special date to visit the Octagon Arts Center together. This venue is all about highlighting the work of the many talented artists who are both locally and regionally based. Various shows are scheduled throughout the year that spotlight either a particular theme or the work of an up and coming artist. You and your date know that your relationship is kind of like a work of art in and of itself, so spending some romantic time at the Octagon Art Center is literally a picture perfect date!

There's nothing quite like a case of the blues. It's no fun when you have it alone, but when you get together with fellow blues enthusiasts at the annual Knology Sea-Blues Festival, the blues are most definitely worth celebrating. The two day festival, usually held in May, features a variety of regionally and nationally recognized blues artists. This event is free to the public.
