Your rough week was no laughing matter. But you can change all that by enjoying a zany evening filled with chuckles and belly laughs when you make your reservation at Clearwater's Coconuts Comedy Club. The nightlife comedy venue has been open since 1986 and has been providing an impressive roster of the best stand-up comedians from all over the country. Also, Coconuts welcomes several up-and-coming talents who are dead serious about making you laugh.
It's a screamin' good time aboard the Sea Screamer, the world's largest speedboat. Hop aboard for a one-hour cruise along the Gulf, where you'll see plenty of dolphins frolicking in the waves. The tour guides will even point out the waterfront homes of Hollywood royalty as you cruise by.
The Capitol Theatre has been offering audiences in Clearwater top-drawer stage productions since 1987. The actors, directors and technical professionals all exhibit an unwavering commitment to their craft as the theater stages at least one performance per week all year long. The entertainment venue's design makes it possible to get a clear view of the stage from any seat so you won't miss a minute of the on-stage action. So, if you are in the mood for something dramatically different, make plans to take in a show tonight at the Capitol Theatre.
Cooperation instead of competition is the mission of Studio 1212. Established in October of 1970, this is the oldest artist cooperative in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The membership is limited to thirty members who not only create and teach their craft in this cooperative, but they frequently hold openings and display their art for the public to view and purchase. Various classes are offered as well, as the members of the co-op also value the opportunity to give back by teaching their craft to aspiring artists.
