This particular pier attracts over two million visitors a year and is actually an iconic landmark with its inverted pyramid shape that cuts into the Tampa Bay skyline. The aquarium continues it's impressive 23-year tradition of educating visitors about the importance of sustaining our marine wildlife through engaging exhibits and attractions. Marvel at the nearly 400 creatures who inhabit these incredible 17 tanks.

Fans of Indy Car action look forward to the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg held every late March or early April. In addition to the Indy Car race, there is also an Indy Pro race and an American Le Mans Series race, all held on a waterfront track in downtown St. Petersburg. In addition to the races, there's also great live music to enjoy as well as family entertainment and other attractions.

Sandcastles made of the white sand on St. Petersburg Municipal Beach seem more magical when you look out over the clear water that makes its way slowly up to the shoreline. American Stage features a wide variety of entertainment that ranges from dramatic classics to the cutting edge as well as everything from musicals to Shakespeare. There are performances offered all year long as well as the popular "American Stage in the Park" in the Spring.
