Springtime Tallahassee celebrates Florida's history and culture. 200,000 festival goer's spring into the day's events, including Breakfast in the Park, the Springtime Tallahassee Parade with mechanical floats, and wraps up with Jubilee in the Park. Tons of arts and crafts, exhibits, food and amusing entertainment make for a fun filled day.
Come watch an eagle soar at Tallahassee Community College, home to the TCC Eagles. Talk about soaring; baseball coach Mike McLeod is a four-time winner of the Panhandle Conference Coach of the Year and in 2011, posted his 700th win as baseball coach of the TCC Eagles. The TCC Eagles play sports in softball, baseball, basketball, and track and field.
The Goodwood Museum & Gardens sit on 16 acres of sprawling lawns, gardens, and century-old oaks in Tallahassee. Nature lovers delight in discovering the outdoor beauty of what was once a cotton plantation, and seeing today's grounds owing its stately charm to the informal array of Old Garden Roses, oak trees and magnolias.
The Tallahassee Little Theatre has been performing outstanding live theater arts and entertainment in the community for more than 60 years. The plays are performed by the best volunteer talent the capital city has to offer, and its cast performs in classic Broadway productions like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and other plays like Much Ado About Nothing.
