Yogi Bear isn't teaching forest education at Bear Creek Education Forest, but kids still love to sign up to attend the park's educational programs. Most of the programs include a lesson, games, and hands-on activities like arts and crafts in the forest. Participants in the program will also get to explore the 432-acre forest on hiking and biking adventures to see some of Mother Nature's main attractions.
Take a historical hike at Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park. Discover the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex, once home to Native Americans, who built six temple mounds, and a possible burial mound dating back more than eight centuries. You just found the perfect recreational trail to exercise your body and your mind.
The Tallahassee Little Theatre has been performing outstanding live theater arts and entertainment in the community for more than 60 years. The plays are performed by the best volunteer talent the capital city has to offer, and its cast performs in classic Broadway productions like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and other plays like Much Ado About Nothing.
