Check out a piece of urban Atlanta's history by visiting The English-American Building, more widely known as the Flatiron Building. The building is located in the downtown business district and was built in 1897, making it the city's oldest standing skyscraper. Check out one of nature's odd attractions at Panola Mountain State Park. The park was created in an effort to preserve a 100-acre granite monadnock, or mountain. In all, this state park occupies 1,635 acres and is home to a visitor center, a playground, two fishing lakes, an archery range, and plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking in the great outdoors.

Nature's most beautiful attractions are in bloom at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. This 30-acre expanse is home to a collection of gardens, including a rose garden, a garden featuring edibles like fruits and vegetables, a conservation garden, a garden featuring water plants and many others. The botanical gardens are sure to be the most colorful attraction you see in Atlanta.

The Breman Jewish Heritage & Holocaust Museum features exhibits that detail the horrors of Nazi forces in Europe before and during WWII. The museum takes special care to honor the six million lives lost during the Holocaust through display of photographs, artifacts and personal accounts of the devastating events.
