Check out one of nature's odd attractions at Panola Mountain State Park. The park was created in an effort to preserve a 100-acre granite monadnock, or mountain. In all, this state park occupies 1,635 acres and is home to a visitor center, a playground, two fishing lakes, an archery range, and plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking in the great outdoors.
Make sure your kids get their daily dose of education by taking the family to Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta.
