Located a quick 6 miles from the center of the city, Rose Hill Cemetery offers visitors a chance to respectfully visit some of Macon's key figures as well as all of the men and women whose lives helped to shape this part of Georgia. Make sure to bring your camera as some of these headstones are visually stunning, and there are also many angels cast in stone that you will definitely want to take photos of.

Music, arts, crafts, booths and games are all part of this very entertaining and educational festival. There is much to learn and experience as the gathering is held at the 12,000-year old Ocmulgee National Monument.

This impressive museum can be considered a type of window to the world with all of its educational and highly entertaining exhibits and attractions.
