The entertainment venue has been nationally recognized as one of the preeminent community theaters in the country. It also has the distinction of being Georgia's oldest and largest community theater. Macon audiences are entertained by the regular schedule of dramas, comedies, and seasonal productions that are presented throughout the year.

Lake Jackson, or Jackson Lake as it is sometimes referred to, is one of the oldest reservoirs in Georgia. Located in southeast of Atlanta in a rural area, the lake is so expansive that it is situated within Jasper, Newton and Butts counties. On of the most stunning features of the lake is the Lloyd Shoals Dam that was built in 1910.

This impressive museum can be considered a type of window to the world with all of its educational and highly entertaining exhibits and attractions.
